Yes, but in the case of my lease there is.


It gives the escalation, which I interpret as a one time 10% increase, and then a duration, until I give the tenant 60 days notice or the tenant gives me 30 days.

So a real life example would be: lease ends, current rent was 1000/mo not rent is 1,100/mo. Since no one gave notice, that will continue until I think I can get more than 1,100/mo, or if I want to get a new tenant, for whatever reason. In which case I'll give 60 days notice and find a new tenant.
